Collector's Arcana: Lathan's Gold was given the letter code XSOLO. The subsequent Expert Level solo module Thunderdelve Mountain was then given the code XS2, so Lathan's Gold is also referred to as XS1 as it is the first module in this series.

It consists of a three panel cover and a 32 page booklet. As with most solo modules, the inside of the cover has numerous areas designed to record information by the player, so finding these without any writing can be difficult.

Description (From the back cover)

KIDNAPPED! The cursed Baron von Hendriks has kidnapped your betrothed. Now the madman wants as a ransom your Alandah's weight in unrefined gold! How are you going to pay?
