Gen Con 16, University of Wisconsin-Parkside
August 18-21, 1983.
This years Gen Con is located at the University of Wisconsin- Parkside for the
6th consecutive year. This is the first year however that some of the events are
held simultaneously at the Gateway Technical Institute some 2.5 miles away from
the main site. As usual once they start overcrowding a venue they end up moving
locations...
D&D tourney highlights include:
- Annual AD&D Open Tournament
- 'Fez IV'
- RPGA Tournaments one of them open to non Members.
- Third Annual Miniature Painting competition.
- Sixth annual Dungeon Wars.
plus lots of other tourneys. We promise to return
here one day and enter in all of the different
D&D tourneys listed in the programs.
Marks the first show ever of art by TSR and other
fantasy artists. This becomes a regular feature at
Gen Con in later years.
Flea Market is back by popular demand. Known as the Den of Hucksters.
