Here's an example of a 1st printing Traveller box: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5209324725

edit:: (ended at $16, but fair condition)

I would like to know from you non-TSR experts, what is it worth? I would like to get me one later that year.

I have no idea what it is worth. I have very little experience with Traveller items. It is widely considered the best of the sci fi genre of its period. Probably a very smart pick up for you when you get a chance.

Not in my focus either, I remain in the fantasy field. Traveller always had a good reputation in sci fi, as far as I know, and should increase in value one day. For now, I would probably not go beyond $10.
This seller has a few Traveller magazines that look interesting, like this one : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2547&item=5210295227
May be worth a $20 bid, if you want to have a look at Traveller, I suppose $4 each would be a decent deal.

Thanks for the input. Now I have to wait until after we moved, then I will have space enough to put up a non-TSR shelf. Or, maybe I should call it the non-D&D shelf. This shelf will also need a secret compartment for Alma Mater...

Ok, I moved & renamed the thread appropriately. I'll be posting more auctions, for future reference:

Frank's 1st printing of Boot Hill ended at $78 (harami wins).

That's way too high, IMO, but that's another story...
When I think my 'Don't give up the ship' from Guidon, with its 60 euros BIN, won't probably have a taker. tsk, tsk, tsk... Wink
