it is hilarious. It is just about as bad as I feared it would be.

The handsketched illos on the inside crack me up they are so bad. It is surprisingly well written in comparison to the title....habitition.

Overall, I am so glad we didnt get into a bidding war over it, christophe.
it was a fun pickup and I am very happy with all of the other items in the lot.

I really want this item from the SKR "sick cat" auctions: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5200202608

I fear, I've gotta beat the grodog, and the grodog has snooped and found a large stash of cash. But the grodog never bought a sniper rifle and thus he's driving up the price. On the other hand, I know I don't stand a chance of winning it, because the guys with the huge sniping bazookas will shoot tons of money in the final seconds. What can I do with my tiny shotgun? It's hard to snipe with coins for ammo when the other guys are firing gold bars. And SKR didn't offer a BIN muhahahahahaa... only joking here.

Anyway, this item will definitely end up > $100, and that's why I won't win, but I try. Any idea who might end up winning this? Do you also have plans on sniping this?

I thought about bidding on it. But it is already higher than what I intended to pay for it.

Lou, aka Pitttbulll, won one a couple of years back. Otherwise, I have never seen another one for sale. Lou photocopied the book for me so I have read it through already.

Maybe I shall pass this copy along to Ralf in case he doesn't win.

This is the kind of stuff that attract "museum makers", so I would say InvincibleOverlord will be the winner.

Not the kind of items I would have expected from a french seller, but I sure will bid on them :
http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5202096873
http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5202098632
The seller also had a Necromican and a Booty, but obviously he received a BIN offer that satisfied him Crying or Very sad

BTW, do you know the French seller "mordenkanen" (or something like that)? He sells lots of D&D stuff, a bit pricey, but if the quality is right ...

Ah yes, would love to read through the copy!! I hope to add a lot of stuff to our "History" section. I was planning on bidding below the $100 mark, so if Invincible wants it, I won't stand a chance. But losing to him is no shame, definitely not. That guy has a collection... worship

BTW, Adam, I gave away the secret about that small item I am going to send you. I'm sure, you already know... Wink

Mordenkanen seems to be more or less a reseller, or at least a very active buyer/seller. He buys a lot from ebay.com to sell on ebay.fr, usually with a very nice benefit !
I have never dealt with him, but his reputation is good, for what I know.

Btw, the seller confirmed me that he sold Necromican & Booty to Frank... I don't know yet (I will !) for how much. but when the seller says : 'I think he made a good deal", I'm jealous !

... grumble...grumble... wanted to place a bid, too! Since I won't win the history booklet. Anyway, the "wax spot" would have reduced my bid to $60-65 range anyway.

Feel free to bid. My max is at $46, so I don't think I'll win anyway. Furthermore, I already have a 1st print, that was just a "condition improvement"...

Regarding: SKR "TSR History Booklet"
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5200202608

There are many things I dislike about harami2000. One of the few things I like about him is his undeniable sense of humor when it comes to exposing the Coug.

Check out David's latest bid: $76,01 - just to prove, that the Coug's max bid was $77. That's the Coug's usual bidding pattern - extremely stupid, but what can you expect. And, of course, David aka harami2000 was right. lol

I'll stick to my regular bidding behavior - never outbid members of the Tome Crew! However, should your $46 bid be topped, I'm in. If you win, will you sell me your old 1st printing?

... and harami2000 gets what he wanted. vantas1 outbids the Coug at $78. Tsk tsk tsk...

If I don't forget it. I'm into my second beer after three cocktails and it's 1.45 AM already. Damn, am I getting old...

PS: We've got to do something about the smilies. Because 1.45 should read 1 : 45 (without the spaces), but phpBB changes it into 1Rock out5.

That was my mistake, numbering the smilies. What are we going to do?
